Feb. A very cool and windy month. Wind I expected knowing Florida but the cool (almost cold) weather all month has not been fun. Not to much boating, some short ICW trips but have not gone outside since first trip out. Some maintenance this month. Replaced all external zinc's, had the boat bottom cleaned; she found a line on the port shaft but I never felt it, got to love diesel power. Went to Miami Boat Show yesterday, mainly to look at electronics. tech walk me thru reset of my Searay nav. Will see what goes on there but could be an upgrade when I return to Marina Bay.
Have made the decission to leave Stuart at the end of Feb and move on the Ft Lauderdale for a couple of weeks. Hope it will be warmer down there, at least a bit. I have friends down there plus Jay and Phil will be down for St Pat's day. Expect to return to Stuart after that and then the hard part of planning the return to the north.
Not much warmer in Ft Lauderdale but weather most definitely has improved. Met some wonderful people down there. Stayed in Beha Mar, and City Marina for a few days each then moved to Charlie's house and dock for the remainder. Returning to Stuart in a week for so (3/13) if plans hold. Charlie wants me to stay at his dock longer but after two weeks I'm done with my annual visit to Ft Lauderdale. Crazy place, nothing like it and always great.

Sent out advance notice for potential crew for April trip north. Plan will be to leave Stuart around 4/17. Got to fine tune the plan but wanted people thinking.
