Charleston SC Megadock - 4/21/10

Another great day on the water. Left Port Royal about 6:45 am and arrived here in Charleston about 11:30. Great ride outside, light breeze (w); easy swells of maybe two feet max. Auto took her most of the way, very relaxing. It is nice to have the ICW there but outside, not having to watch for markers is just so sweet.

Charleston is a great spot for those looking for a new vacation spot. Great walking city, beautiful beaches, and fantastic food.

Spent a good part of the early afternoon washing Three Corners and if I have to say so she is looking good. There is a fantastic boat (ya) here in front of my. She is black, twin masts, 245 feet, name is Tamsen, home port George Town. Just beyond belief. They have been putting supplies on all afternoon.

Shirley arrived about 5PM; We went to dinner and then they left for Manning SC. Was great having Roger on for this first leg.

Next crew arrives tomorrow (Thurs 4/22) mid morning. I'm hoping to get outside in the afternoon for a few hours but then we all know about the ocean in the afternoon. Time will tell with that one.

All is well on Three Corners
